Michel Platini – France’s great footballer

Michel platini – Greatest football player of the france’s history. According to me Michel Platini is second greatest player of the world after pele. Michel Platini typified the player wearing jersey #10.He was specialist of orchestrator, top-scorer and free-kick. Superb passing skills makes him outstanding and extraordinary in this game. He contributed with enough goals to make even world class strikers envious.



He started his football career in 1970. He proved himself quickly in french football and become poster-boy and big star when club won promotion and later established itself on the upper half of the table in the French premier division.



Michel Platini played for three clubs 1> AS Nancy-Lorraine (1973-79) 2> AS Saint-Etienne (1979-82) in France  3> Juventus (1982-87) in Italy. He was played 501 matches and he scored 256 goals.



After retired from his football career he worked as a coach of the french national team from 1988 to 1992. After 1992 he was co-president of FIFA world cup organizing committee for 1998 world cup in france. Then after he worked as vice-president of the French Football Federation (FFF) from 2000.


Michel Platini was elected as 6th president of UEFA in Dusseldorf on 26 January 2007, and was re-elected by acclamation for a second 4 year term at the XXXV Ordinary UEFA Congress in Paris on 22 March 2011. He is also a vice-president of FIFA.
